Byron committed suicide on Thursday, 2 July 2020. Once he revealed, that he was suffering from severe depression after his oldest brother committed suicide. In January 2020, he shared that he was happy and was no longer depressed. Before he committed suicide, he had proposed his ex-girlfriend, Becca on his Twitter account. On his demise, his ex-girlfriend shared her grief on her social media account, she tweeted,
I didn’t see the proposal until it was too late but that doesn’t change the fact that I wasn’t able to be there for him. “He was amazing. He taught me how to have fun, to experience more, and challenged me to try to be more than what I was. He was larger than life, too big for this world.”
