Shweta Tripathi is an Indian theatre artiste, actress, model, an assistant director, fashion designer, and a photographer. She came into the spotlight by playing the role of ‘Zenia Khan’ in the TV serial “Kya mast hai Life.”

She did her schooling from DPS RK Puram and went to National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi to pursue her graduation in Fashion Communication. She often visited to watch plays with her parents from where she drew her interest in acting. She decided to be an actress from a very young age. Shweta Tripathi belongs to a Brahmin Family. Her father is an IAS officer and mother is a retired teacher. She has an elder sister Pooja.
Shweta dated the actor and rapper, Chaitnya Sharma aka SlowCheeta, for five years before tying the knot with him on 29 June 2018.
Shweta started her acting career in 2009 with the Disney Channel’s “Kya Mast Hai Life” in which she played a Tomboyish character, Zenia Khan. Subsequently, she featured in “The Trip” on Bindass. Next, she featured in the movie “Zoo” which was India’s first feature-length movie shot entirely on an iPhone. Thereafter, she featured in the crime thriller web series “Mirzapur.”
In 2015, she made her film debut with “Masaan” in which she played the role of Shaalu Gupta. Shweta, then, featured in the film “Haramkhor” opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Tripathi has also featured in TV commercials like “Tata Sky,” “McDonald’s,” and “Vodafone.”
In 2019, she portrayed the role of Enakshi in the Hindi film “Gone Kesh.”
Apart from acting, she owns a theatre company named “All My Tea Productions.”
